no sooner met, but they looked;

no sooner looked but they loved;
no sooner loved but they sighed;
no sooner sighed but they asked one another the reason;
no sooner knew the reason but they sought the remedy.

as you like it, william shakespeare

i might be wrong

foto: paulo urbano

I might be wrong
I might be wrong I could have sworn I saw a light coming on I used to think I used to think There is no future left at all I used to think Open up, begin again Let's go down the waterfall Think about the good times And never look back Never look back What would I do? What would I do? If I did not have you? Open up, let me in Let's go down the waterfall Have ourselves a good time It's nothing at all Nothing at all Nothing at all

overcome by your moving temple
overcome by this holiest of altars
so pure, so rare
to witness such a lovely goddess

i lost my self control
beyond compelled to throw this dollar down
before your holiest of altars

i'll sell my soul, my self esteem
a dollar at a time for one chance, one kiss
one taste of you my magdalena

i've beared witness to this place, this lair, so long forgotten
so pure, so rare, to witness such a lovely goddess

and i'd sell my soul, my self-esteem
a dollar at a time for one chance, one kiss,
one taste of you my black madonna

- Love doesn't end, just because we don't see each other.
- Doesn't it?
- People go on loving God, don't they? All their lives. Without seeing him.
- That's not my kind of love.

- Maybe there is no other kind.

ulysses syndrome

The Ulysses Syndrome, a sonic voyage into our own abysses, speaks to those with never ending quests, to the nomads
of the spirit and to those who haven't capitulated in front of the horrific advance of banality and superficiality.

dançamos.
a vibração fica. esmaga.

o tempo

foto: fabrice pinto

Respiro o teu corpo:
sabe a lua-de-água
ao amanhecer,
sabe a cal molhada,
sabe a luz mordida,
sabe a brisa nua,
ao sangue dos rios,
sabe a rosa louca,
ao cair da noite
sabe a pedra amarga,
sabe à minha boca.

serralves e eram 3

foto: ricardo cardoso

...
and you will try to do what you did before
pull the wool over your eyes
for a week or more
let your family take you back to your original mind

there's nothing i can do
there's nothing i can do
there's nothing i can say
there's nothing i can say
i can say
